Family Directions of Iowa, Inc. is a non-profit human service organization that provides parents with expert education and advocacy to build healthy families and strengthen parent and child relationships.

Why our services are needed?

In 2010, there were 26,413 Reported Child Abuse Cases in Iowa

12,595 of those became confirmed cases of child abuse and neglect in Iowa, an increase of 66% since 2000

(source: Iowa Department of Human Services)

I n 2009-2010 Family Directions of Iowa served...1,556 families including 1,683 parents; 800 youth ages 12-18;

1,499 children ages 0-11.
